Volunteer with The City
The City comes to Steam Early Access on November 5, 2026. If you would like to help its community grow, from keeping the Discord friendly to running build contests and welcoming new mayors, there is probably a role for you.
All of these roles are unpaid volunteer roles.
Volunteering here is a way to get involved with the community around The City. It is not a job, and it is not employment, a contract or an internship. There is no pay, and you can step back or stop at any time, for any reason, with no hard feelings.
What you might get out of it
We would love to thank the people who help. Depending on the role and how things go, that could include:
- Your name in the game's credits.
- A special volunteer role on the community Discord.
- A direct line to the developer, and a voice in how the community is run.
These are things we hope to offer, not promises. Volunteering does not come with payment, a free copy of the game or any other reward unless we tell you so in writing.
